but i'm not a runner!!

This all started with a little thing called a triathlon.

Now that that's over it's back to just trying to work out and be healthy.

BIG NEWS: From now one this site will be a mix of the trials and tribulations of 3 ladies as they strive to be healthy.

day 38

schedule: 15 min run (last day of rest week!)

today was easy! 15 min? pft. (said the overconfident girl). actually yesterday i got home from the beach (read: feeding fest) and was so compelled to work out i basically dropped my bags, changed and hit the gym!

yesterday was better than today. i actually really don’t like going to the gym in the am. i’m tired. it takes me about 20 min to wake up and i usually don’t really give myself that time before heading to the gym (less than a 10 min walk away). yesterday i was able to push myself by increasing my speed and really trying. i also did some weights and situps. this morning was the opposite. i didn’t want to go fast and i was sluggish.

i did however run about a mile an 1/2. i keep timing myself because i’m curious how long the whole race day extravaganza will take. it breaks down b/c i always forget how many laps equal a mile of swimming and i don’t know how long the pool i swim in is (both of these could be remedied if i gave a little effort).

anyway, tomorrow is an off day and i’m heading to strength class at the gym.
