but i'm not a runner!!

This all started with a little thing called a triathlon.

Now that that's over it's back to just trying to work out and be healthy.

BIG NEWS: From now one this site will be a mix of the trials and tribulations of 3 ladies as they strive to be healthy.

day 35 happy birthday america!

schedule: 15 min run

15 min?! that’s it?! amazing. i’m in new jersey right now, staying with a friend. this meant i had to run outside, in an area that I dont’ know very well. It worked out just fine, 15 min is not very long to run and also my friend here lives on a cul-de-sac. it made it pretty difficult for me to get lost. 

it was also  nice to run outside. i didn’t bring my ipod, as i’m pretty sure you can’t use them on race day and it was only 15 minutes. not having music wasn’t really that hard for this amount of time. if we’re working on my general treadmill pace of about 11 min a mile (i wouldn’t win any competitions there!) i ran just over a mile, which felt about right. i love that i’m starting to get a sense for these things. 

other updates: i’m DEFINATELY buying  a bike!! i’m very excited. now i just need to figure out where it’s going to be stored …
